Who we are
Fleet Ilya is a London-based leather design house and atelier founded by husband-and-wife team Ilya Fleet and Resha Sharma in 2003.
Our medium
Leather is our primary medium. We work with a small number of European tanneries and specialist finishers. Our core base leather is vegetable‑tanned leather from an Italian tannery that is Leather Working Group (LWG) certified and part of the Genuine Italian Vegetable‑Tanned Leather Consortium, complemented by additional European leathers and finishes selected for specific textures and performance.
What we make
Couture informed leather objects & wearable pieces designed to empower, where craft, design & provocation are held to equal standard, carrying the same discipline into bespoke commissions, spatial work and consultation.
How we work
Sitting at the intersection of a traditional saddlery discipline and a strict aesthetic code, we hand make each piece to order at our London atelier. We cut our hides with intention and considered use of leather with minimal wastage, while finishing with our recognisable atelier execution —disciplined, exacting, and refined down to the last detail.
What we stand for
Eroticism is not a theme. It is a fact of human life. We treat it with an aesthetic sensibility, responsibility, and a clear ethic: trust & consent are non‑negotiable.
